Summer Love


 

I had the pleasure of making a cake for an engagement party.  I based the design on the gorgeous invitation(parts of which I have cropped to protect personal details) as shown.  The bottom tier was chocolate mud with dark chocolate ganache and the top tier was white chocolate mud with white chocolate ganache.  When I was told the next day the cake was all eaten I was concerned that perhaps the cake was not big enough, as the cake should have served at least 70 and there were only 50 guests, however I was told people went back for seconds so that was not only a relief but a great compliment.
